It’s amazing how much art can influence everyone’s lives, even in the most subtle of ways. Two Spanish artists María López and Javier de Riba, who pair up together under the name Reskate Studio, have brought a whole new dimension to street art with their latest work, and are surely influencing all the people that pass through them.
Using phosphorescent paint, they add an extra dimension to their street art by hiding clever pictures inside the images they create. During the day, the murals will look one way; at night, the mural turns into something much more complex!

López and de Riba are both graphic designers and illustrators from Donostia-San Sebastián and Barcelona respectively and the two primarily focus on “projects which include graphic design, illustration, installations, and murals.”
The two manage to highlight the complexity behind and highlight the various layers behind even the most simple things we encounter. From the knife hiding behind the bread, the contrast of the deep sea and the planet, or the hand puppet that brings the rabbit to life, the two artists bring layers of art to the real world!
The everyday grind can be difficult, but street art can truly bring help bring colors and happiness into those that encounter it. By using special paint, they are sure to bring beauty and influence various people’s lives!
