What started off as a romantic date turned into an unforgettable memory for this young lady.
Back in 2014, Alex took his girlfriend, Anna, to the University of Southern California (their alma mater) to watch an a cappella show, but that wasn’t all he had planned. Alex somehow managed to convince USC’s a capella group to help him pop the big question — “Will you marry me?”
During the performance’s finale, the a capella group called upon Alex and Anna to make their way onto the stage. Of course, this was all planned beforehand by Alex.
On stage, the couple was serenaded by a group of very talented USC students. Midway through the a capella group’s serenade of Frankie Valli’s “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” Alex grabbed the mic and led the performance.
Not knowing what to think about Alex’s actions, Anna was in for quite the surprise.
Alex’s serenade continued as he sung Jackie Wilson’s “Higher And Higher” and finally “Your Song” by Elton John before he got down on one knee and asked the big question. ads
